Action for Sick Children Scotland for more than 30 years has worked for children and young people to get hte highest standard and quality of care when they are ill in hospital, at home or in the community. We work for ALL sick children and young people in Scotland regardless of their illness or condition. It is very worrying when a chld is ill and we porivde support and information to their families. We help by showing where to access support and what they can expect form health car providers. Our current projects working with children and families include working in schools helping children with additional support needs to look after their oral health; working with foster and kinship carers so they can support the healthcare needs of the vulnerable children they are caring for and supporting children with long term conditions and their parents.

Wales Air Ambulance provides an emergency air ambulance service to Wales with the ability to be anywhere in the country in 20 minutes.The charity responds to around 2000 missions a year- each mission costs approx £1500. WAA has to raise £6million per year in order to operate the lifesaving service.
St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth provides free end of life care in Plymouth, SW Devon & East Cornwall. At home; in hospital & at our In Patient Unit we care for patients in the final days & weeks of life. St Luke’s has to raise £4.5 million year with 86p of every £1 you donate going to patient care.
