About the Centre: The Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Lothian is an independent registered charity in Edinburgh. It was set up over 25 years ago by a group of people with MS and their families and friends, as were many other Therapy Centres in the UK. The Centre is open six days a week to provide practical therapies and support for people with MS in Fife, Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Borders. Therapies include Physiotherapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO), Reflexology and Yoga. Users have the opportunity to share their experiences with each other in an informal, friendly atmosphere, and there is a wide range of published information available in the Centre. We seek to provide support to carers also, and are looking to expand the amount of services available. We make no charge for oxygen therapy or physiotherapy, and the other therapies are available at reduced prices. We rely on the generosity of users and the activity of their relations, friends and other fundraisers for support.
