We want to ensure that no child or young person affected by parental and family addiction feels alone. WCTC provides affordable counselling for individuals, couples and young people in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and beyond. WCS is particularly valuable as a voluntary addition for patients in need of long-term care beyond whatever the NHS can provide. We can see up to 50 people a week for short- or long-term counselling. As a BACP-accredited service we follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice. WCS is a registered charity and aims to provide counselling irrespective of clients’ ability to pay the full fee. We rely on fundraising events to help raise awareness of our service and to fund it.

YTD Raised: £0.00Clyst Caring Friends is a charity that exists for the relief of those who are sick, convalescent, disabled,infirm or elderly residing in a rural area to the east of Exeter. The charity began as a 'friends of Pinhoe surgery' running a car service to the surgery for those with mobility problems, but has over recent years developed and expanded. Our current operation includes running a purpose built day centre in the village of Broadclyst five days a week. Here we provide three days of day care, one of which is for the elderly mentally infirm. We also have a specialist bathing unit. A Memory Cafe also meets at the centre and its staff and volunteers are trained in dementia awareness. There is a monthly lunch club for those who are housebound and all our services are supported by a volunteer car service. We are continually fund raising to support all of our services and we are looking to run a charity shop to boost the fund raising. Charity No: 1050675
