Young Hearts charity was set up to help support children born with heart disease, and their families. It raises money to provide equipment for children's treatment at home and also assists the cardiac team at The John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, by providing equipment which will help save children's lives.
Helping Alopecia Trust (HAT) was established to offer help and support to those affected by Alopecia, to raise awareness about Alopecia within the general public and to provide funds for medical studies and research into Alopecia. By organising support meeting's, family fun days and annual support weekend's we bring together those affected by Alopecia to meet other like minded people. At present there is no cure for Alopecia but HAT tries to build the confidence and self esteem of those going through a traumatic and stressful experience. Toby was born with Cerebral Palsey, specifically spastic diplegia and could not walk without the use of aids. In October 2011 Toby had spinal surgery in the USA. The surgery was a huge success and Toby began walking unaided on his 7th birthday, Christmas day 2011.
