The common factor between each of these ladies is that they have a unique and individual story to tell about their condition AND they were all equally dissatisfied with the response from the medical profession on diagnosis AND the lack of research into Autoimmune Alopecia. With only "support" charities out there for Alopecia they decided something must be done for the millions of sufferers out there and the next generation. AARUK was born!

The Foundation will provide an opportuity for our people to broaden their experiences and awareness of others in need. The process of fundraising also strengthens our team through training together and exploring their individual needs, as well as promoting health and fitness amongst our staff by selecting an appropriate challenge each year. We offer counselling, complimentary therapies, support, advice and act as a key point of contact for cancer patients, their families, carers and children.

It started with the intention which will help us give back to those people and institutions that supported us during our Ryan's sickness and also help similar terminally ill children, spend happier days. Ryan Ninan children's charity is an extension of Ryan's benevolence beyond life; moreover it was his wish to setup a charity and raise money for other children. Our main aim is to support Helen house hospice, Ian Rennie nursing team, Kamran's ward at J R Hospital Oxford, children undergoing treatment at the Regional Cancer Centre in Trivandrum, India during the first year. The purposes of the charity are to assist in the treatment and care of children suffering from cancer mainly brain tumour, or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness, by the provision of advice, funding and support.
