It affects people of all ages, and the reason why isn't always known. Airway stenosis is often mis-diagnosed as asthma, and we aim to raise awareness of this so that this happens less often. Airway stenosis (narrowing) feels like being made to breathe through a straw, permenantly. It is a terrifying condition, and although rare, over 300 new cases are diagnosed each year. There are surgical options available to patients who can afford it, but this does not provide a guaranteed success rate - and surgeries are often multiple. Your donation will go directly towards helping patients of all ages, providing support and practical help wherever possible. Thank you.
