To help them to achieve lives free from violence and abuse we are developing new emergency supported accommodation where they can be safe and have time and support to make that all important fresh start. Help us with our new beginning so we can help them with theirs. We can change lives to be free from abuse - this is our work 365 days a year. Will you help us to be there on just one of these days? By donating, you will be enabling our services to continue. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse at some time in their life (British Crime Survey 2002). In the past 2 years we have accommodated over 250 women and children in our current refuges. With your help we can provide - a computer room and play facilities, practical and emotional support, safe and fun play sessions and creative or therapeutic times. Can you help by donating to this service? Here are some examples of what your money can do - £2.00 will provide welcome pack for a child. £10.00 will provide materials for a craft session. £15.00 will provide a support session for a family to assisting with addressing their needs.  £40.00 will provide two play sessions helping children to come to terms with abuse. £50.00 could assist refuge outings enabling the families to have some much needed fun. £100.00 could be used towards computer equipment for the children’s homework sessions.  £250.00 could pay for an annual Zoo pass for all our service users to be able to use. Can you sponsor a room or piece of equipment? £5 will provide a tableware set. £12 will provide the linen for a child’s cot. £25 will buy an iron or ironing board. £50 will buy all the accessories for a bedroom and bathroom. £100 will buy a single bed. £900 will furnish a flatlet at New Beginnings.
