All the information on the site is submitted by people with first-hand experience of learning disability, and is organised under quick searches such as ‘Dressing & undressing’ ‘Out and about’ ‘Behaviour’ and ‘Routines’. There are also practical info packs on subjects like financial help and jobs & training, plus a friendly interactive forum.  “The idea for Netbuddy came about when my son was small,” said Netbuddy founder Deborah Gundle, who’s son has learning disabilities. “I spent so much time and energy solving day-to-day problems, which I felt sure other people had encountered. “Netbuddy works because people in the special needs community like to support each other. If there’s an opportunity to help someone else, they nearly always will.” For more information go to www.netbuddy.org.uk
