Maldon Housing Association Ltd objective is to provide Almshouses and associated services and amenities for persons who are in need of accommodation through old age, chronic sickness, disability (whether physical or mental) or necessitous circumstances. The Association provides accommodation to people over 60 years of age who have connections with Maldon and are able to live independently. The Association is committed to promoting independence and empowering residents to have control of their own lives. The aim is to offer a 'home foe life'. By working with other professionals, such as social services and care agencies, care packages are put in place, where necessary, to ensure residents are able to live independently for as long as possible.
Rockdale Housing Association was set up over 60 years ago with the aim of providing housing and care for older people in Sevenoaks. It was largely the result of the determination of one woman - Miss Beatrice Wilson - a gifted physiotherapist with a vision to improve the quality of older peoples lives in the town. We have two beautiful sites just off the High Street in Sevenoaks, Kent, where we have over 150 sheltered flats and our residential care home, Rockdale House. Our priority at present is to raise funds to build a new, bigger residential care home on its site in Sevenoaks. This will allow us to continue to provide affordable accommodation and care for vulnerable older people well into the future. The Association is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act on charitable model rules. It is also registered with the Tenant Services Authority and is a member of the National Housing Federation.

Caring In The Heart of Camden Imagine having no-one to help you in times of need or sickness. Who would you turn to? Who can offer a helping hand? The only answer for many people living in Camden, young or old, is the St Pancras Welfare Trust. The object of the Trust is to help residents of the former Metropolitan Borough of St Pancras when faced with need or sickness and have nowhere else to turn. A separate trust, the Camelot Trust, supports holidays and school trips for disadvantaged young children. The area of benefit of both trusts lies within the heart of the London Borough of Camden and includes some of the most densely populated parts of the borough, many with high indicators of poverty and need. The most common request is to help people being re-housed - perhaps after years of living rough, living in a hostel or after leaving an institution. They have no resources or possessions and their new homes are usually cold and bare. We help by making small grants in cash or vouchers to buy furniture, bedding and clothes. We also receive requests to help young mums and their children, the frail and elderly and those in need of respite. During the year ending 31st March 2013 we made 164 grants totalling £23,577. An analysis of grants shows that they directly affected a total of 838 individuals. Beneficiaries included 9 pensioners, 23 persons suffering mental health problems, 26 persons with disabilities, 16 families being re-housed and 11 families seeking asylum. Your donation or legacy will make an enormous difference. Thank you

We want money given to aid and development to be put to best use. This means working with grassroot organisations in Africa and Asia, training them in essential skills to manage money effectively. Most of them can't afford training. That's why at Mango we have a bursary scheme in place which we hope you will support. 100% of your donation will be used for bursaries, training people to get the most from their money, prevent corruption and become self-sufficient. Your gift will keep on giving and make a real and lasting difference where it matters most. Do watch our video by Grace Mzungu of the Upendo Orphans Support Project in Kenya and you'll see the difference that can be made with a little help http://youtu.be/-ylobeOG2-s www.mango.org.uk
