Disability Sports Coach are the leading provider of high quality sporting and physical activity opportunities for disabled people in the UK. Since we formed in 2005, we have delivered sport to more than 80,000 disabled people, supported over 300 organisations in providing sport or physical activity and trained over 6,000 aspiring disability sports coaches.  We do this by providing coaching and specialist training to mainstream schools, special schools, clubs, charities & other professional organisations. We also deliver a series of Community Clubs in London for disabled people aged 11 and older, focusing on Adapted and Paralympic sports. "When we play rugby everyone smlles" Friends of Rwandan Rugby is a small, innovative charity which teaches the joys of rugby to boys and girls in some of the most impoverished regions of Rwanda.  FoRR’s mission is to promote reconciliation through sport, using rugby to build trust, friendships and foster shared experiences on the rugby field.  The charity currently employs 6 Rugby Development Officers (RDOs) coaching rugby across 85 rural schools. For all the gruesome statistics from Rwanda’s genocide – and there are many – perhaps the most sobering is that 96% of the child population at the time are thought to have witnessed the bloodshed first hand.  Now those children are helping to build a new Rwanda and for some one thing has made that unenviable task just a little easier:  Rugby Rugby as a contact sport helps build very strong relationships & friendships.  Players need to be friends with their team mates so they take care of you on the pitch. FoRR focuses on teaching rugby to children and young adults in schools and communities across Rwanda from towns to rural areas.  FoRR’s core day to day activities involve:

Exeter City Football in the Community Charity works in collaborative partnerships to deliver physical activity, health and wellbeing and educational services and experiences for people of all ages and abilities throughout Devon. The charity operates in four main areas: education, social inclusion, health and sports participation and engages more than 50,000 children, young people and adults per year in programmes within these areas. The charity provides more than 4,500 holiday club places and 6,000 after-school club places and more than 3,300 sessions for people with learning difficulties as part of the Ability Counts programme. More than 1,000 players take part in street soccer and there is a full cohort of girls training at the Devon FA player development centre. Football in the Community also delivers external educational programmes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and a fully accredited Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport. The charity works in partnership with many external bodies, such as Devon County Council, Exeter College, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, Lloyds TSB and Exeter City Council.
