Broadwater Sports Club is an amateur sports club providing community rugby for all ages and for both sexes under Guildford Rugby Club. We are a non-profit making organisation and CASC registered, and rely on donations and sponsorship.
Maidenhead Rowing Club is committed to getting people active. Children from 12 to 18 benefit from the experience provided by our club. It gets them fit, teaches them to work as a team, builds confidence and forms amazing lifelong friendships. But its not all about children, we have squads racing all over the country and for GB and we have a lively recreational squad for those coming to the sport later in life. We are currently raising funds to build a gym at the club so that we can offer much needed land training facilities for our members. This is a vital part of rowing nowadays in order to compete at the highest level and to keep everyone fit when the river floods and we can't go out in the boats. From Carpark to Playground - CHAPerones, the Christopher Hatton Association of Parents, is raising money to convert a carpark into a playground for the children at Christopher Hatton Primary School. Currently the children have 1/3 the recommended outdoor space and have to play on the roof. 90% of families live in flats.

London Youth Rowing is a groundbreaking sports charity, which aims to develop young people through physical activity and open access to rowing at all levels. We are passionate about making fitness and rowing accessible to young people from all walks of life right across London; helping them get active, develop confidence and skills and have fun in the process! We design inspiring programmes as a means to improving fitness, making new friends, and entering competitions either as an individual or on a team. We offer the highest standards of coaching and encouragement for all, and we have performance coaches to develop the most talented to the highest levels. We are currently working with over 80 schools in the London area, and 20 clubs. Last year over 5,500 participants took part in our programmes or activities, including over 250 young people with disabilities. With our Row East London olympic legacy initiative underway, we expect to increase the number of young people regularly participating in our programmes to even more per year.
