They were part of what has now become the largest family of adventure seeking children in the world, inspired by their founder, Lord Baden Powell. They were the Amberley Scout Troop, number 1181 and had come from homes throughout Amberley, Woodchester and the Minchinhampton area to develop life skills and values outside the rigours of school. To this day those values of loyalty, honour and duty are as precious as they were then, which is why we need your help.Having moved to the current site at Jackdaw Quarry up Culver Hill in 1915, Amberley ScoutGroup is in dire need of a new Headquarters. Planning Permission has been granted for abuilding to be constructed over the existing footprint. Please help us reach our goal.
