(UK, 1155962) Browse events"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing" - Albert Einstein. The Butterfly Project was formed to help empower children and orphans around the world, by providing them with support on the bare necessities, until they are self-sufficient and able to stand on their own. Providing basic needs such as clean water, healthy food, sanitation projects, shelter and medication along with other long-term projects such as providing a decent level of education, sport, recreational projects and increasing awareness of public health issues are the ethos of what the Butterfly Project are hoping to achieve. Five of our eight trustees are successful medical doctors, all insured to cover out medical procedures abroad, administering vaccines and educating children and parents on public health issues. The other two trustees are committed to supporting I.T, sports and music programmes, providing educational and recreational support for children around the world. Our mission is to collaborate with smaller local charities, who have the knowledge and access to the wider issues affecting struggling children and orphans in their local communities. By collaborating with these trusted charities, we are able to cut costs and maximise our reach within unknown territory, making sure your donations go a lot further. The Butterfly project is a non-exclusive charity dedicated to supporting children across the globe, without any bias or favouritism. We are 100% non-profit, where our volunteers and trustees take no form of income. By dedicating our time and resources to various projects on an annual basis, we hope to bring change to many children struggling desperately for survival. Please help us bring this change by donating little or large, it all makes a massive difference in lifting the spirits of the children we are trying to support.
