Praxis Community Projects is committed to working with vulnerable migrants. We are deeply concerned for the safety and well being of refugees, asylum seekers, refused asylum seekers, people with limited or no recourse to public funds as a result of their immigration status, young unaccompanied asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking, foreign national offenders and others who find it difficult to settle in the UK. Founded in 1983, Praxis has worked with people from some of the world's most dangerous and troubled locations including Latin America, Francophone Africa, the Horn of Africa and the Middle East. Praxis operates a walk in advice service and operates projects which seek to address the fundamental human rights of new migrants.
We work in Mombasa, employing local people to feed and educate children; provide homes for orphaned and abandoned children and families in need of a helping hand. Our goal is to pursue unity, giving staff and students the opportunity to love, appreciate, respect and understand one another through daily routines.

This is a charity that assists street children in Kenya by giving them either a safe house in which to live or in Foster Care (whichever is appropriate). It also ensures they are fed, cared for mediacally and receive an education to help them become valued members of society. The charity works closely with local people who are respected and have a heart for these deprived children

Its multi-sensory story packs are the leading educational resource for children, teens and adults with severe to profound learning disabilities.
In our Spotlight UK headquarters and around the Basingstoke area we provided inclusive activities at affordable prices for all ages. We provide support groups for parents/carers of children with special needs and disability, support groups for young carers, foster children and siblings of children who have special needs or disability. The charity currently funds approximately 90 children in weekly activities from low income families. Without this vital support from Spotlight UK many young people would be on the streets and venerable to negative influences.
