Life Impact is a UK charity with staff working in Thailand. We have set up this charity to help make a difference to people, mainly the young, who through extreme poverty and human rights abuses are at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking. We believe that if we can change a life for the better, that in turn can change the world for the better. Our main goal is that of prevention but we will also seek to rescue those sold into prostitution or slavery. We aim to set up safe homes to provide immediate social, medical, psychological and educational support and bring healing. In the longer term we will establish projects that will provide ways in which these people will be trained and taught skills to help them help themselves in order to escape from the cycle of poverty.
