Yabonga's aim is to enable South African families and their communities affected by HIV/Aids to support themselves. We work to enable children and disadvantaged youths to reach their full potential. We run several programmes which support the following areas: Adults living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children on our Community Mothers programme, After school care for affected and vulnerable Youth. These programmes are often supplemented by a number of satellite initiatives such as the Crafts Programme for income generation, the Nutrition Programme which includes a garden and bakery, and our Respite programme provides a safe haven for those children deemed most at risk.
