Since 1908 the HAC has been a regimental of the Territorial Army and now the Army Reserve. The HAC1537 is a two-year charitable partnership between the Honourable Artillery Company and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Drawing inspiration from the HAC’s founding year, the partnership exists with the intent to raise £500,000 for the Charity while increasing the awareness of the Charity and our work among HAC members. We are organising a charity cycle ride to Gavrelle in April 2017 to raise money for ABF - the Soldiers Charity.
Home-Start Wandsworth is a charity providing support to families in the London Borough of Wandsworth, with at least one child under five, by volunteers whom we also recruit and train. Through weekly home visits they are able to respond to the problems of struggling families with both practical and emotional help. Volunteers support families facing a variety of difficulties, including loneliness and isolation, postnatal depression, disability, bereavement, relationship difficulties, lone-parenting, being new to the area, illness or coping with several pre-school children.
