In 1962 the HAC was registered as a charity "for military exercise and training and for the better defence of the realm’. Since 1908 the HAC has been a regimental of the Territorial Army and now the Army Reserve. The HAC1537 is a two-year charitable partnership between the Honourable Artillery Company and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Drawing inspiration from the HAC’s founding year, the partnership exists with the intent to raise £500,000 for the Charity while increasing the awareness of the Charity and our work among HAC members. We are organising a charity cycle ride to Gavrelle in April 2017 to raise money for ABF - the Soldiers Charity.

Volunteers support families facing a variety of difficulties, including loneliness and isolation, postnatal depression, disability, bereavement, relationship difficulties, lone-parenting, being new to the area, illness or coping with several pre-school children.
