(UK, XN11723) The church of St Oswald has been at the centre of the village of Winwick for hundreds of years, but now the dreaded death watch beetle has wreaked havoc on the church roof: we need to restore our beautiful old church, and, with the help of English Heritage, have our big chance to save St Oswalds. In February 2012, the grant from English Heritage was formally offered and accepted. The nave roof has now been completed, and now the side aisles are being tackled.

Today we share our faith by worshipping together and bringing the good news of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection to those around us. One of the ways in which we seek to meet the needs of the community is through working with young people, and we are actively fund-raising to expand the activities we are offering to three groups for children between 10 and 16 years old.
