Foundation for Change works with individuals whose lives have been affected by substance misuse. It is a place where we work with individuals to support them to create solid foundations on which to build their lives which is done through a process of education, group learning and building self-awareness. One of our main values is that we believe misusing substances is a rational response to trauma and/or disadvantage and that by educating people about their condition (rather than treating them for it), they gain a better understanding of it and the world around them. The result is that individuals feel more informed, less helpless, and better empowered in their lives as opposed to being dependent on intervention from treatment services. Please check our campaigns page if you'd like to make a donation.
