We become a trusted 'friend on the phone', there to listen and give emotional support in difficult times, or simply share a laugh."I'm not too well in the morning but when the phone rings and they say 'hello', it's a better tonic right away than all the pills I swallow." Ann, 86If our Good Morning call remains unanswered we will try to find the person to verify their safety before alerting anyone. Health appointments and services are checked. If the search fails we will alert their nominated contact person or the Police. Help will be sent. This was much appreciated last year by the people who had fallen at home and those who'd had a stroke. They all needed hospital care.
