Our charitable organisation was started in 2010 in memory of our daughter Ella. In May 2011 we completed the renovation of the Daisy Suite at Treliske Hospital in Truro, this is a special facility set aside from the busy ward where parents can come to terms with their loss in private and comfortable surroundings. Ellas Memory now maintain and look after the suite for the Hospital and we also supply the fantastic staff with memory equipment such as a camera, fleece blankets, small teddy bears, special inkless wipes and bedding so that the parents can compile special memories of their precious babies. Our new project for 2012 is to renovate a second side room on the ward which is currently used as a second suite for parents. The on going support is greatly appreciated by everyone at Ellas Memory and Treliske Hospital. Thank you

Our members are mainly hands on building tradespeople who raise their own sponsorship and do not receive any remuneration whatsoever for their work. Our projects started with Orphanages and have progressed as the needs changed. We continually maintain all of our projects. Our projects include an orphanage, two schools, five dispensaries, a street kitchen, a welfare centre for street children, poor families and the disabled and a hospital. Our outreach program is aimed at keeping children out of care and is worked on a very personal basis helped by our medical and educational contacts who actually live within our area of work in Romania. Our help is only limited by sponsorship, the allocation of funds to support individuals is based in advance on a yearly budget to maximise the help that we are able to provide.
