Welcome to the donation site for Making Miracles
Each year Roehampton Students' Union runs a RAG campaign through which we support three charities; one local, one national and one international. The three charities we are supporting for 2014/15 are Regenerate, Crisis and Farm Africa.
Kentish Town City Farm is a real working farm set in the heart of London. Situated amidst dense local authority housing in Gospel Oak. North London, the farm is a community project providing educational and recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities. Special emphasis is placed on working with children and young people and those with special needs. The farm is a local hub for community activity and offers a wide range of activities that include: animal care, under 5's drop-in, volunteering for all ages, horse-riding, arts and crafts, special one off annual events, cooking, gardening and school visits.
Photo here of Anne Hutchinson & myself, Barbara, qualifying for the RDA National Dressage championships. Riding for the Disabled is for all ages and abilities from 4 to 70+. It's social & gives the brain & body unique exercise! Our Berwickshire RDA horses, based near Reston, need £1000 per month.

Angus Riding for the Disabled caters for around 50 disabled adults, young people and children on a weekly basis. We have 8 fabulous horses and ponies varying in height from 13.2hh to 15.3hh. Our purpose built Centre was officially opened by Princess Anne in April 1997.
RSPCA Cambridge is a local branch of the National RSPCA and provides animal welfare services, including a charity clinic and pet rehoming in South Cambridgeshire, Newmarket and Royston. See http://www.rspca-cambridge.org.uk and http://rspca-cambridge.blogspot.com for more details.
