The Chase County Hospital Foundation’s goal is to raise approximately $215,000 for equipment at the Chase County Community Hospital. This money will be applied to purchase a new 3-D Mammography Machine and 2 Defibulators. The current equipment has and is about to outdate and needs to be upgraded. The Chase County Community Hospital (CCCH) is a rural, critical access hospital located in Imperial, NE and operates a satellite clinic in Wauneta, NE, 20 miles east of Imperial. Geographically, the two metropolitan centers nearest to Imperial are Denver, CO at 200 miles to the west and Omaha, NE at 350 miles to the east. The CCCH service area encompasses over 2000 square miles with a population of more than 12,000. CCCH is a public owned non-profit facility and has a policy of accepting all individuals in need of healthcare regardless of their ability to pay. While CCCH is a public facility it receives no local tax support. Donations and grants are playing a significant role in the effort to improve equipment, facilities, technology, and training. Health care is a critical asset to all residents and is an essential component of growing rural economic development and maintaining rural community areas. With your help we can serve this community with the best equipment to help save on early detection of possible breast cancer and help to save lives with the defibulators.
