The CareTech Foundation is an independent charity with ambitious and clear-sighted objectives to deliver meaningful impact to communities in need in the UK and overseas. The Foundation has four vehicles by which it seeks to deliver these key priorities: Partnership Grant-Giving. The Foundation supports a small number of significant partnerships with credible and high-quality charities and social enterprises consistent with its three key objectives. Match-Funding. The Foundation provides match-funding to CareTech staff’s individual fundraising efforts for charitable causes in line with the Foundation’s Charitable Objects. Family & Friends. The Foundation delivers a small grants programme to support the family and friends of CareTech staff facing significant hardship or for issues affecting local communities in which CareTech plc operates. Responsible Business. CareTech plc has a long-standing clear public commitment to its wider responsibilities to the environment and communities in which it operates. The establishment of the Foundation provides an additional vehicle by which support and develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to improve their impact in line with the Foundation’s Charitable Objects and to deliver public benefit.
