Firth Primary School (AU, 53251579) Browse events

YTD Raised: $4,473.00

We are a school located in Matamata with a roll of 237 students. We have a very supportive school community and they assist where they can, however to repair, repaint and replace pool fencing we are needing to host a fundraising event to complete this work. We are planning a Colour Fun Run on Friday 24th November to raise money to complete the necessary works to ensure our students can have the opportunities to learn to swim, be confident in and around water, along with water safety. This work is well overdue and the Ministry of Education does not support schools financially to repair, replace or upkeep school pools. We offer swimming lessons for all our students at Firth Primary School in Terms 1 and 4, however this work needs to occur in order for the pool to be operating to allow this to happen. We would greatly appreciate any support you may be able to offer us to reach our goal of pool upgrade by the end of the year. We are more than happy to advertise in our community notices, facebook page and website your support for our school and appropriate signage at this event acknowledging your support. Thanking you in advance for your support of our school to achieve our goal and support nga tamariki.

To help people see that there is hope. To stop them reaching the same crisis point as Robert and Max. And to prevent other families going through what Kate and Lewis’ families have experienced.
