(UK, XR72211) The Autism Initiatives mission is to meet the needs of people with Autism, their families and carers by providing a range of services which are personal, professional and innovative. Our expectation is that people with autism can learn and develop and we support this process every single day. We create unique services for people to enable them to have ownership of their own lives and future. We are a charity which delivers direct support services to young adults and children with autism / aspergers throughout Northern Ireland. This involves supported living, residential living, social enterprise, floating suppport & outreach support. We also run a Health & Activity Programme which promotes Healthy lifestyles and encourages participation in lots of programmes designed to boost Physical & Mental Health. We also run a social opportunities group for 13 - 18 year olds and a 18+ social group. Our counselling service is available to all our service users and their families or carers. We run a One Stop Shop in Derry City which provides a comprehensive service to people in the community. Our Social Enterprise businesses are Chocolate Memories, a chocolate making business based in Moneyreagh and 'Pumpkin Pastures' a community garden scheme in Newcastle, Co Down
