Our mission is simple, we aim to improve our communities by supporting children and young people to overcome barriers, through raising aspiration and enabling achievement. Established in April 2014 we have developed as a charity from the seeds of a project called The Gaming Zone, which has been around since 2007. Initially a youth club for young people living in one of the top 20% areas of deprivation in England our intention was clear, providing opportunities for young people to stay off the streets in a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where they could play the latest consoles, access the internet and be safe. 5 years later we became a social enterprise TGZ C.I.C (community interest company) and a little over 2 years later our organic growth has blossomed into the charity that aims to support all children and young people in Rushmoor and especially those facing adversity, crisis, challenges and those who are vulnerable. You can still visit our TGZ CIC website for information about all our projects that were developed under The Gaming Zone umbrella and will now be under the secure wing of the Creating Futures charity. We work with hundreds of children and young people each week and also offer a range of support services which you can read all about on this site. We work with many agencies and organisations such as Rushmoor Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, First Wessex, Sentinel, Children’s Services, Adult Services, the Supporting Families programme, other youth groups and youth focussed organisations and many many more!

A small number of children who have experienced abuse, violence or abandonment can live in safety at Cheryls. Education is a crucial step towards a child’s future. Children of primary school age are taught by school staff whose salaries are funded by CWK. (UK, 1112597) Browse eventsWe offer psycho-social support to Orphans & Vulnerable Children in Botswana. We follow the African proverb that "It takes an entire village to raise a child" and consequently have a direct approach and indirect approach to helping children. Direct - We offer after school activities and operate a pre-school for children. Indirect - We work with the youth and older generations (as they impact the youngest generation) and complement government strategy in addressing poverty and a lack of education and behaviour change towards HIV / AIDS.
