Other regular local causes we will continue to support include, CAP Christmas Hampers, Wakefield Metropolitan Band, Speakability, the Stroke Association and Kingsland Special School whilst doing what we are able to support folks in need during this pandemic. All this will be dependant on how long the risks from this Pandemic are with us and how well we all recover afterwards.

Thanks to our army of skilled volunteers (mainly retired engineers), children who have never walked can ride a bike and quadriplegic mums have special cots and prams to meet their exact needs. (UK, 1159064) The Colchester Half Marathon is a small charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers from Colchester Colne Round Table. The half marathon has rapidly grown into one of the regions premier races, attracting over 2,000 entrants every year. All profits from each years race are donated to deserving local charities chosen by the Trustees. The beneficiaries for the 2018 race are Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and MS UK.
