The Brittle Bone Society is the only UK charity supporting people who have Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). Someone with OI can experience hundreds of fractures in their lifetime. We work closely with the main NHS centres of excellence located in Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow who continue to make medical breakthroughs and advances in the various orthopaedic surgical procedures that OI patients require. Part of our work is to fundraise for specialised wheelchairs, to give people their right to improved mobility and more independence. We also work to raise awareness about issues of isolation and support vital research programmes into better treatments and diagnosis of this rare condition. A key pillar of our work is to provide much needed support when a person is diagnosed, or when they learn their new baby has the condition The feedback we receive from both members and medical professionals is that the service provided by the Brittle Bone Society is highly valued and indeed critical in improving the day to day lives of people with OI. Please support the Brittle Bone Society and help people who live with bones that break.

The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain discovers, inspires, and trains diverse young talent from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We embrace their fearless energy and individual voices to produce powerful theatre by telling the stories of our time to critical acclaim. We've been providing the next generation of creative, articulate, responsible citizens for 55 years and we are as ambitious as the young people we serve. Our celebrated alumni include Dame Helen Mirren, Colin Firth, Catherine Tate, Daniel Craig, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Orlando Bloom. Can you help support the work of the National Youth Theatre, either financially or in kind? Please contact Richard Wilkinson Head of Development on to discuss how you can help us. We are delighted that the family and friends of Diana Bliss have chosen to honour her memory by setting up a bursary fund in her name. If you would like to make a donation please visit The Diana Bliss Bursary page.
