Our telephone line is available 24 hours and day, 365 days a year. Money might not make the world go round, but it certainly helps to keep Samaritans open day and night. Samaritans is a registered charity (No. 219432) that relies on public donations and sponsorship to 'be there' when people need our help and support. Scunthorpe & District Samaritans is the only 24 hour helpline in North Lincolnshire, answering around 20,000 calls every year. Our branch needs to raise fifty pounds every day to stay open.
