Outfit Moray is a registered Scottish charity which aims to improve the lives of young people, adults and families in Moray through the provision of outdoor adventurous activity programmes. The project has been operating from Lossiemouth since 2007 and works with schools, youth organisations, community groups and families across Moray providing a wide range of affordable and accessible outdoor activities. Outfit Moray was founded in 2003, and we have worked with over 14,000 children and young people across Moray; building confidence, self-esteem and resilience, providing positive role models and encouraging the acquisition of life skills and new experiences, through challenge and positive risk taking.We have a focus on providing opportunities and activities for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, including those at risk, those with difficult home lives, those with a disability, those that have offended and those considered as at the margins of society. We run both one-off and longer-term programmes, sometimes working with the same young people over a number of weeks or months. Our activities are highly subsidised to make them accessible and affordable for everyone, and to ensure they are available for those who need them.
