Each family is supported by one of our key workers who are specifically trained and supervised to offer emotional support, which ranges from befriending to counselling or therapy. Primarily based at the two neonatal units in Leicester, we have Family Support Workers who are in daily contact with all new parents at the hospitals, giving them the support and help they need to get them through the very traumatic emotional time of having a special care baby.

Nathan is one of only 100 diagnosed children around the world and the only one in Australia. We want to raise funds to sponsor Nathan's treatment in 2014 which will hopefully enable him to hold up his own head, possibly swallow or even allow him to speak.
