CLAPA is a support organisation for all those with and affected by cleft lip and/or palate. One in 700 children are born with this condition - about 1,000 a year in the UK. We provides information, advice and one to one support through our national network of branches and volunteers.
We provide funding for learning support, additional teaching resources and aids. We provide funding for the upgrading of equipment and improvement to school facilities. We manage and operate the school canteen, the uniform shop, and the band program. All funds raised goes directly back to our kids
Kidney Wales raises funds for Kidney Patient Care & Wellbeing and Research. Kidney Wales objective is to promote strategies and services to prevent and treat kidney disease, and to help deliver better quality and quantity of life for patients, families and carers.
Our vision is that people across the vast and rugged Canterbury and West Coast regions can live their lives to the full, assured that if they have a serious accident or medical emergency, that the Air Rescue Helicopter and Air Ambulance Service will be there day or night, free of charge, to look after them and their families. Youth Off The Streets offers a continuum of care to young people between the age of 12 - 22 who are chronically homeless, abused, suffering from addiction or in general need of our help. We offer a range of programs including crisis and short term accommodation to long term residential care, counselling, secondary education and rehabilitation. We have extended our services to various communities and regional centres throughout NSW via our Outreach Programs. We also operate a volunteer run food van service each night in Kings Cross. We have developed these programs in response to the growing needs of our city and regional communities over the past 20 years. Where our young people are in trouble, we will be there. Melanoma Patients Australia offers a national network of support and information to patients, their families, carers, and friends, about melanoma prevention, diagnosis, management and treatment. All of the services offered to patients are offered at no cost.
The charity aims to enhance the care of and improve facilities for patients within NHS hospitals in Durham, Darlington & Bishop Auckland, and other smaller sites. It uses monies generously donated by local people to pay for patient amenities and services beyond what the NHS can provide.
The Aranda Primary School P&C Association helps support the Aranda Primary staff, students and local community through a range of fundraising activities. The P&C is focused on helping to build a positive school and community environment for all involved.
