The Cabrini Foundation provides an important link between Cabrini, its donors, supporters and the community. Our purpose is to seek philanthropic support to assist Cabrini in improving the health outcomes of our community. The Cabrini Foundation oversees and guides all fundraising activities on behalf of Cabrini. The Foundation actively pursues philanthropic gifts for new programs, lifesaving equipment and technology and capital funding for major building and redevelopment projects . We also seek funding for clinical and translational research initiatives and clinical education including scholarships for the development of the next generation of healthcare workers. This work is essential in ensuring that Cabrini can continue to provide a wide range of vital healthcare services for the community. As a not-for-profit private Catholic healthcare provider, Cabrini does not receive government funding or financial support from the Catholic Church. Cabrini ‘s reputation for excellence in healthcare has been forged with the help of our generous supporters and benefactors including individuals, philanthropic trusts and foundations, corporate supporters and business leaders.

Contact a Family is the only UK-wide charity providing advice, information and support to parents of all disabled children - no matter what their health condition. We enable parents to get in contact with other families through a family linking service, both on a local and national basis. We have a freephone helpline offering a one-stop-shop for families of children with disabilities, offering advice on welfare rights, community care issues, education needs and a listening ear with access to interpreters. We also have a number of local, regional and nation offices plus volunteer family workers around the UK.
