Cambridge Cancer Research Fund or CCRF, is based near Cambridge and over the last 22 years has funded vital cancer research at the University of Cambridge and at Addenbrooke's Hospital. At present CCRF is working to develop new tests to improve the detection of early cancer growths so that they can be successfully removed before they spread. We fund important work at Addenbrookes Hospital to find new biomarkers that can detect aggressive cancers at an early stage. In order to carry on this work we desperately need funds to allow us to continue this work and also to enable us to set up a new research group to evaluate and validate new sensitive diagnostic technologies to detect these aggressive cancers. Your donation, be it large or small, can help us carry on this vital research and help save more lives.
