AWARE (Australian Wildlife Assistance Rescue and Education inc.) is a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer wildlife rescue and rehabilitation group which operates in Frankston (Victoria, Australia) and surrounding suburbs. We are devoted to assisting sick, injured or orphaned wildlife that may otherwise be left to suffer or die by providing a 24 hour emergency rescue hotline service manned by volunteers knowledgeable in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation techniques. AWARE was officially incorporated on 31 March 2005 and is listed as a Deductible Gift Recipient organisation (meaning monetary donations are tax deductible). We have been actively addressing wildlife concerns with government bodies and other wildlife groups and working to increase the number of rescuers and carers in the state. Additionally, we are working towards expanding the knowledge and expertise of our carers/rescuers, members and the general public through the introduction of regular workshops and events, presented by specialists in the field of wildlife care, and through phone advice given by our dedicated team of hotline operators.

THE CHILDREN OF CAMBODIA FOUNDATION WAS FORMED IN MARCH 2010. ITS AIM IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN CAMBODIA. Cambodia is recognised as one of the poorest countries in the world. Education is not compulsory and many families find it financially difficult to send their children to school. The main aim of the foundation is to provide financial support to families in the District of Phum O in northern Cambodia by providing school essentials such as books, pens/pencils and uniforms. Where needed, the foundation will also provide bikes to those children who, without them, would be unable to travel to school. In addition to assistance to families, the foundation will also fund improvements to school facilities where required and provide assistance to teachers by way of teaching aids and professional development. The financial support provided by the foundation will assist families and teachers and will increase the numbers of children attending primary schools in the district.

Lions are about giving back to their communities. Lions Australia supports medical research, people with disabilities, emergency relief and leadership , development through its projects and activities. Lions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of the Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto seen on road signs throughout the country. Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing. Clubs may either provide service or raise money for their community. Most of the money raised goes back into the community, either directly or indirectly through National and International Projects. Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters. Our men and women conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more. Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.
