St Philip's Church, Dorridge is raising money for a new building to replace both the existing church, hall and meeting rooms. The value of the project is £3.5 million of which nearly half has been raised so far from gifts, pledges and the sale of the old vicarage which we own outright. The new facilities will give a larger and more flexible worship area and the new hall and meeting rooms will enable many local organisations to meet and grow. It is a beautiful modern design. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
Special Olympics provide year round training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and is not to be confused with the Para Olympics - physical disabilities only. SOSUNS has been running for four years. In that time we have grown and now offer eleven sports catering for advanced and entry level. The sports are Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, T-Ball and Ten Pin Bowling. SOSUNS could not do what we do without the generous contribution of community volunteer time and funding from the business community and our sponsors.
