We provide scholarships, funds, the necessary environment and resources to deliver quality education to all, regardless of gender, ability, caste, etc. at the school. We also support adult learning in the village. Education is a right, not a privilege and one of the best ways to end poverty.
We look after the iconic windmill on Beacon Hill and other village properties, and run the Grange Museum and Gallery with permanent and changing exhibitions and cultural events. We are digitising our archive of photographs and documents from Rottingdean's past and have set out a heritage trail.

Tornadoes was formed in 1970 one Saturday morning at Dundale School, when 14 boys turned up for a football training session. Today, Tornadoes has circa 850 playing members across Football, Futsal & Netball both children and adults in Tring & Berkhamsted.

The Disabled Golf Association promotes disabled golf in England. Our key activities are: 1. Organising around 50 golf events across England for disabled golfers. 2. Work with golf clubs to help them become more "disabled friendly". 3. Organise coaching sessions to introduce disable people to golf. 4. Work with England Golf and other sporting & golfing organizations to promote Disabled Golf
We provide a playgroup provision for Thornhill and want the children to have a brilliant time at a price that is not restrictive to families. Therefore we like to raise money for new toys, food and extras at celebratory times.
Alsama sets up education centres, sports hubs and social enterprises in refugee camps in Lebanon. We have developed an innovative curriculum which compresses 12 years of typical school education into just 6 years. Our projects are run for – and, in large part, run by – refugee communities.
Women become homeless for many reasons including addiction, domestic violence, abuse, ill health... When this happens, they need a ‘space’ where they can recover from the trauma of their experience, feel safe and secure and, in time, move forward in their lives. Daisyhouse provides such a space.
