A Leeds-based charity providing live music experiences for families. We run early years music classes, intergenerational singing sessions, award-winning Mini-Gigs, singing for post-natal depression work, specialist music work for families with a disabled family member and we develop workshops and performances with and for festivals or specialist groups. A donation of £5 could pay for a child to attend one of our weekly early years music classes. We offer free and subsidised places to families who are unable to pay. A donation of £10 could pay for a specialist instrument for a child to use in music workshops in the hospital or at a family support group. A donation of £25 could pay for a family ticket to a fully accessible Mini-Gig. We offer free and subsidised places to families who are unable to pay. A donation of £50 could contribute towards a music session for new mums with postnatal depression. Singing has been shown to speed up recovery. If you donate using these amounts, please contact us if you would like a printed voucher sent in the post with a pin badge.

Established in 2011, the SEAL Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax-exempt organization based in Austin, TX. The Foundation was founded by SEALs, is run by SEALs, and supports the brave men of the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams. The SEAL Legacy has been developed and fostered for the more than 50-year history of the United States Navy SEAL Teams. NO SEAL has ever been captured and NO SEAL has ever been left behind on the field of battle, dead or alive. This Legacy is the very genesis of the SEAL Brotherhood – an ethos that binds them together and demands they not fail one another. That is what drives SEALs. That is what inspires SEALs. It is this same Legacy that is the driving force for the SEAL Legacy Foundation. Our intent is simple: Honor the Brotherhood, Preserve the Legacy, and Ensure that NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND.

(UK, 259140) Browse eventsA powerhouse of inventive dance Northern Ballet is a powerhouse of inventive dance. Bold and confident in our approach, we engage, involve and move our audiences. We reach a diverse range of people through passionate story-telling, a mastery of classical dance technique and an absolute commitment to our leading role as an international ambassador for world-class dance. A unique company Northern Ballet was set up in 1969 and has since grown to become one of the best-loved dance companies in the world. We take inspiration from an eclectic mix of classical dance, theatre, popular culture, literature and opera to develop new and original productions and to create new interpretations of popular classical ballets. We believe in the value of creating full-length ballets which appeal to as many people as possible from all walks of life, and we constantly seek out new audiences. We regularly tour throughout the UK and overseas and enjoy making everyone whose lives we touch feel they are part of the Northern Ballet family. Just at a time when we felt we were on the crest of a wave goverment cuts brought about a decrease in our funding. Having achieved so much on limited resources, it came as a huge disappointment. Without increased support we will have to significantly reduce the number of dancers in the Company. We now need your help to ensure we can keep our Company together. Fundraising just got personal. Join us, your donation could help us sponsor a dancer and help us to continue to produce work that inspires our audiences across the county.
