(UK, 1172317) Browse eventsHere for Cats was founded in November 2014 by a small, dedicated group of cat lovers in the Surrey area, all of us experienced in cat rescue and rehoming. At present we operate with a limited number of foster homes, garden pens and the use of space at a couple of local catteries. We are all volunteers contributing our time, effort and experience. In March 2017 we achieved our goal of becoming a registered charity and are ready to move onto the next phase. Our aim is to build a new exciting facility in Surrey centred around the rescue, rehabilitation and homing of cats but also providing a resource for the benefit of the whole community. Donations will help create a self-funded organisation that provides not just for today, but for the future. The centre will allow us to develop our work promoting responsible pet ownership, providing educational and community programmes to promote mutual well-being, understanding, and respect between people and animals, and include activities relevant to all.
