Community Restorative Centre supports individuals, families and communities impacted by the criminal justice system. People released from prison have paid their debt to society and have the right to re-establish their lives in community without stigma, stereotyping or discrimination. They should be offered support to transition back into community, improve their life options and build pathways out of the criminal justice system. Families of prisoners should not be punished or suffer from discrimination. Families should be entitled to support to minimise the effects of having a relative or loved one imprisoned. Community Restorative Centre is working for positive social change.
Our aim is to improve the resilience and mental wellbeing of our local school age children. Our goal is to raise funds by engaging and activating our community. The funding will deliver a variety of early intervention services, including curriculum modules, training, counselling, therapy and clubs.
