Over 65,000 young people attend The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght, every year. Having looked after young people for so many years we know how important it is to focus on caring for the needs of both the sick child and their families. The hospital prides itself on providing excellent care in a number of areas including, Endocrinology, Surgery, Radiology, Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes, Asthma and allergies. There is also a very busy paediatric A E department that sees over 30,000 children a year. The hospitals Outpatient department facilitates multidisciplinary care supporting its core services. Extensive research into the area of childhood illness is carried out in the hospital and Trinity College’s Paediatric Department is also based here.
Quilpie State College (est. 1918) is proud of its history, focusing on improving outcomes for students in all areas of schooling. Our school caters for students enrolled in Preparatory to Year 10.
Wachalal’s sole purpose and lone reason for existence is to support in solidarity, via accompaniment and provision of resources, the ministry of our Guatemalan sister non-profit organization “Ajkun Pa Le Qatinimit – Clinica Medica Cristiana” (APQ). APQ is a non-profit faith based health center located in the small rural town of Santo Tomas la Union, Suchitepequez, Guatemala. APQ seeks to provide a preferential option in healthcare to the largely impoverished, majority indigenous, population of Santo Tomas and its neighboring communities.
DHA aims to prevent and alleviate homelessness, debt and severe housing difficulty in Derby and Derbyshire. Our goal is for everyone to have a decent safe place to live, stability in life, a healthy existence and the opportunity to contribute both socially and economically to their community.
Fundraising through school and community activities. Money raised is used to provide this small church school with equipment and activities.
Birmingham Law Centre fights for social justice by providing in-depth legal advice and representation for people who are desperate for advice but cannot pay for a lawyer. It helps homeless people, people in debt as well as people not getting the right benefits or services that they are entitled to.
Hope Corner is mainly active in the geographical area of Runcorn and Widnes. As well as key church activities, we have a number of community projects. These include Runcorn Foodbank, providing relief from food poverty and Unreachable Ministry which provides education/training in the Christian faith.
