In existence since 1895 ECSC is now supporting around 500 swimmers from first strokes in recreational swimming through to competitive swimming at a National and International level in both Pool and open water events. A focus on healthy sporting development and assisting young people in finding confidence in and out of the water whilst supporting competitive swimmers right through the age ranges with our Masters Squad. Our swimmers benefit from a structured individual training programme whether they are part of our 'Learn To Swim' lessons or 'Performance' squad. In a time where body image and child obesity is commonly featured in the media we are proud to have a diversity of youngsters with exceptionally healthy outlooks on life and glad to defy many stereo types within sport. Swimmers compete as individuals and regularly as a team and success is celebrated across age, gender and ability groups. We gratefully accept donations or fundraising efforts especially those that include the swimmers efforts in and out of the pool, from the silly to the outrageous stay safe but help us continue our healthy and controlled expansion. In the longer term we would love to assist the City of Exeter in developing a swimming facility with an ASA competition approved 50m pool, in the short term we are looking to fund and secure more pool time, improve our training equipment, and are currently looking to employ a full time assistant coach to assist our diverse range of swimmers and abilities.
