We support those affected by acid reflux, the potentially pre-cancerous condition, Barrett's Wessex and oesophageal cancer. We provide information via our website, newsletters, drop in meetings, an on-line forum and email and phone helplines. We work across the larger Wessex area raising awareness of the risks of ignoring frequent heartburn and raising funds for initiatives to prevent this fifth most common cancer that kills one person an hour in the UK. We support the national charity, Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign helping fund research and work within the consortium of charities: "Action Against Heartburn" attempting to raise awareness nationally.
