The Fund was set up in partnership with Cancer Research UK in memory of footballer Bobby Moore OBE, who sadly died from bowel cancer, aged just 51. Every day in the UK, 44 men and women die from bowel cancer. However, if detected early, over 90% of cases can be successfully treated. Each year, with the help of people like you, the Bobby Moore Fund raises over £2 million. The funds are spent on high quality research carried out by leading scientists across the UK. Your support will help us tackle bowel cancer.
