The RSPB has always fought to save nature. Now our birds, wildlife and natural places are under greater threat than ever. So we have to inspire a whole generation to come together and give nature a home. In boardrooms and back gardens, in parliament and on over 200 reserves. Wherever we can, we are bringing people together to do their bit - including around the world as part of an international alliance of conservation charities.

Little Company of Mary Health Care, a national Catholic health care organisation, are stewards of the heritage of compassion begun by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, who came to Australia in 1885. We serve communities and individuals through more than 20 health, aged and community care services throughout New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory by providing: Public and private hospitals Retirement living and residential aged care Community care and Comprehensive palliative care Foundational to the spirituality of Mary Potter was the recognition of, and deep respect for, the unique dignity and beauty of the human person and a desire that all persons experience the care and concern of others. Through interaction with our Calvary services, people will have a greater sense of their own worth and dignity. Their experience will be that someone cares about whom they are, what they are experiencing and what they need. Their needs will be met with a commitment to excellence in service and care. This is the heart of “being for others”.
Our aim is to provide relevant, meaningful and challenging curriculum and develop and maintain healthy relationships, inquiry-based learning and a high standard of teaching. The school has strong links with the community and positive parental involvement in the many aspects of school life.
Giving children in Nepal greater choices in life through access to quality education At Supporting Nepal's Children we are dedicated to improving the life and choices of children in remote Nepal villages through the ongoing development of local, quality education. This is an entirely voluntary organisation and every penny donated will help to build and equip schools so that these children have the opportunity to fulfil their dreams. We were formed in May 2013 and are extremely active in the Solukhumbu. Following the devastating earthquake in April 2015, we are now also helping communities in Gorkha, close to the epicentre. If you would like to help us continue this work, please set up a fundraising page, or make a donation direct via this page. We visit Nepal twice a year to visit our projects and provide regular updates to our generous donors. All trips to Nepal are self funded and NONE of your donations will go towards these trips, 100% of your donations makes it straight to the people who need it most. Thank you so much for your help.
