Booktrust is a reading and writing charity that makes a nationwide impact on individuals, families and communities, and culture in the UK. Recently, we launched the Children's Reading Fund to support the most disadvantaged children to give them the hope of a better and brighter future.
The New Forest Marathon Community Fund aims to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle within the local community, where we provide grants to contribute towards community projects and community groups. Local community groups that we support range from: -Brownies and Guides -Beavers, Cubs and Scouts -Youth Police, Air, and Army Cadet Forces -Sports Teams -Dance and Cheerleading Clubs We help to provide local community groups to complete activities that they may not have had the opportunity to participate in before, all of which promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We also help to fund projects which promote wellbeing as well as helping to contribute towards much needed equipment for good local causes.

Sparkles is a parent-led charity that supports preschool children with Down's Syndrome in and around Buckinghamshire. Sparkles was formed in May 1999, by the parents of three children with Down's Syndrome. Concerned that their children would be on a long NHS waiting list for Speech Therapy, and with the help of their local Portage Worker, a group formed and together began to provide the essential therapy the children needed prior to starting school. Sparkles now provides Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy for around 30 pre-school children a year, whilst also providing support and pathways to friendships that are invaluable to parents.THANK YOU for visiting our page! Bridge the Gap is a footballing community for men aged 18-30. We commit to building relationships, developing leaders & transforming lives. Delivering football sessions, socials events and mentoring, playing our part in supporting men’s mental health, well-being and decreasing social isolation.

On 2 April 2020, aged 50, Michelle died from pancreatic cancer. Exactly a year before she died Michelle hiked 50k in a day. On 2 April 2021 we would love you to do “50 for Michelle” in order to celebrate her life. You can do anything that has 50 in it to raise money: 50 steps, a 50 minute workout, bake 50 cupcakes, hike 50k, cycle 50 miles, raise £2 from 50 people, write a 50 word poem, play 50 songs, do 50 push ups, sell 50 cups of coffee, take 50 photos..
