Aims of the Charity:South Devon Healthcare Charitable Fund is a Registered Charity, established to benefit the patients and staff of South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.Donations received from individuals and organisations are independent of the monies provided by the Government. These charitable donations are a very important source of funds and have produced great benefits for both patients and staff.For example:• Medical and other equipment to support patient care, diagnosis and research. • Refurbishment of ward and other areas to create a better environment and generally enhance patient care. • Those extra comforts for patients not available from other sources such as televisions, trips, holidays, recreational facilities and other entertainments. • Staff welfare, amenities, books, training and education.
