The Mareeba State School P&C works with the school to organise and support a range of functions during the year to raise crucial funds. The Fun Run is a great way to have some fun and raise much needed funds for our school. We are a registered non profit charity raising awareness and funds for all rare sub-type renal cancers in the UK, particular the sub-type RMC (Renal Medullary Carcinoma) We want to raise funds and awareness to advance the knowledge and education and research into rare renal cancers. We want to help to support families and sufferers by improving and extend the quality of lives. This will include such as providing equipment and treatment. In Ricky’s memory we will aim to try and help with supporting firefighters across the UK with health and rehabilitation when needed. A charity that will make every penny count.

Quest Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association provides riding for disabled young people and adults. It operates from Laris Farm, Chobham, Surrey. We own four working ponies and hire others. Our riders experience stimulating lessons and hacks in the countryside.
