Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.Home-Start Glasgow North offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children across North Glasgow. Volunteers are at the heart of our work – we couldn’t do what we do without the time, care and commitment of our fabulous volunteers. Home-Start Volunteers are usually parents themselves or have had parenting experience, and they choose to share their time, friendship, parenting skills and experience because they understand the demands and stresses of having a young family. All volunteers are carefully selected, trained and supported for their work with families. We run training courses 3-4 times per year.We also hold a weekly Family Group & ESOL classes for our supported families. All group activities are held in our offices in Maryhill. Please donate to support our cause. We are eligible to claim Gift Aid on your donation so every amount counts.
