It is a well-known fact that children growing up in an abusive home will do less well academically, are more likely to become involved in gangs or other criminal activities and are far less likely to access further education and achieve economic well-being.BCBN has been supporting the Reach services since 2013, the work of the multi-lingual case worker has supported 665 victims and their children. "Our patients come from a wide diversity of backgrounds and cultures, having a specialist member of staff who can communicate with them in their first language is valuable in times of crisis and trauma" - CEO, Guys & St Thomas' Hospital.Help us to raise the vital funds needed to maintain this invaluable service, without our urgent support the position will cease to exist. For just £11 donated a vulnerable adult or child is saved from the harm of existing in an abusive, toxic environment and from further risk of further incidents of violence and abuse. BCBN is a registered charity set up by a group of business people and professionals that have come together to support local community projects that make a real difference to the communities they serve. We seek to promote altruism amongst the business community and to encourage it to re-direct some of its energy, creativity and the vast skills base it possesses for the betterment of wider society.Since its inception BCBN has raised over £1 million in funds for community causes and has attracted support from respected figures such as HRH The Prince of Wales; Former Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Nick Clegg; Transport Secretary, Rt Hon Chris Grayling; Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London amongst others.BCBN in support of the Reach Services, NHS Trust operate a 100% donation policy, every penny you donate will be awarded to the Reach Services.
