(UK, SC042771) ESMS Junior School Pentland Hills Challenge Having enjoyed themselves so much during their outdoor education camp at Lagganlia in Primary 6, the now Primary 7 children from Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools are determined to challenge themselves to raise as much money as possible to help other girls and boys their own age to be able to enjoy a similar adventure holiday even if their parents are not able to afford to pay for them to attend. The children are already working hard through various initiatives, focussing in particular on a day of challenge in the Pentland Hills on Thursday 12 September when all 208 girls and boys will spend period of time up to 12 hours either walking or biking through the hills. This day will be both physically and mentally challenging for the children but with your help they will find determination and motivation to keep going. Please show your support of what the children are doing by making a contribution to the Friends of Lagganlia charity. Click ‘Make a Donation’ now. Friends of Lagganlia is a charity set up to support the work of Lagganlia Centre for Outdoor Learning. We believe in the powerful impact that outdoor learning residentials can have on personal and social development.
